Selected by AIICO: CALEB for investment and asset-liability management
2026
One of Nigeria's largest composite insurers has chosen CALEB as its asset-liability management and investment platform. Implementation is underway.
- Challenge
- Like many insurers in the market, investment and ALM work sat between global systems that were not built for local balance sheets and spreadsheets that could not stand up to audit. NAICOM reporting, IFRS 17 investment schedules, and day-to-day portfolio decisions were hard to connect in one place.
- Solution
- AIICO selected CALEB - Capital Asset Liability Engine for Balance Sheets - as its asset-liability management and investment platform. Tontine is implementing the Asset Management and ALM suites so portfolios, cashflows, valuation, limits, and regulatory outputs share one record.
- Outcome
- Implementation is underway. The engagement validates a locally built ALM and investment platform for one of Nigeria's largest composite insurers - with a path from fragmented books to a continuous view of assets, liabilities, and governed decisions.
